Overview
theNetwork is a curated connection application for founders and builders. This policy explains what information we collect through the waitlist and early access website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect your name, email address, location text, and what you are currently working on. We also collect technical and attribution information such as landing path, referrer, UTM parameters, anonymous visitor ID, browser user agent, and a salted hash of your IP address.
How We Use Information
We use waitlist information to evaluate early access demand, understand launch markets, prevent abuse, send waitlist and early access emails, improve the website, and operate security, analytics, error monitoring, and uptime checks.
Service Providers
We use trusted service providers to run the waitlist, including Supabase for database and authentication infrastructure, Vercel for hosting, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection, PostHog for analytics, Sentry for error monitoring, Resend for email, and Better Stack for uptime monitoring. These providers process information on our behalf.
Sharing and Sale
We do not sell your waitlist information. We do not share your waitlist information with third parties for their own marketing. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer.
Retention
We keep waitlist information for as long as needed to operate the waitlist, manage early access, maintain security, and satisfy legal or operational requirements. We will remove or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.
Your Choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your waitlist information, or to stop sending early access emails. Contact us at team@thenetworkapp.xyz.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including server-side writes, row-level security, HTTPS, bot protection, and rate limiting. No system is perfectly secure, but we design the waitlist to minimize unnecessary data collection and exposure.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product develops. If changes are material, we will update the effective date and provide appropriate notice.
This page is an operational policy for the current waitlist. It should be reviewed by counsel before paid acquisition, public launch, or expansion into jurisdictions with additional privacy requirements.
